Foods Alive Inc. of Angola, Indiana, is recalling its 8-ounce packages of organic moringa leaf powder. The product was distributed nationwide through retail stores and online sellers and was shipped between January 27 and August 7, 2026.

No illnesses have been reported in connection with this recall. The potential contamination was identified after the company’s supplier reported that a retail sample of its super green powder mix tested positive for Salmonella. The source of the problem has not been determined.

Health Risk

Salmonella can cause serious infections, particularly in young children, older adults, and people with weakened immune systems. Symptoms may include fever, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain.
