Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PDMP) Compliance and Risk Management Training for Eastern & Southeastern Idaho

Eastern Idaho – Eastern Idaho Public Health, Southeastern Idaho Public Health, and the Division of Occupational & Professional Licenses have partnered together to invite healthcare providers to attend a Prescriber Education Webinar: Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PDMP) Compliance and Risk Management Training.

The virtual webinar will take place on June 17, 2026 from noon to 1pm Mountain Standard Time. The webinar will cover prescription dispensing trends, overdose prevention resources, and Idaho Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PDMP) compliance requirements.

This webinar is ideal for doctors, physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacists, dentists, and other prescribing professionals committed to safe, compliant, and evidence-based practices. Veterinary medicine providers are also invited to join the webinar as veterinary medications have been found in the United States illicit drug supply.

As opioid-related concerns continue to impact communities nationwide, providers are increasingly expected to demonstrate responsible prescribing practices. Attending this webinar allows healthcare professionals to stay informed about evolving compliance standards, evidence-based risk management approaches, and free overdose prevention resources available to their patients/clients in Eastern and Southeastern Idaho.
